Arches of Ninfa
Arches of Ninfa
There’s something very comforting about classical Italian architecture. Its reflection of history, balance and symmetry is reassuring and nostalgic. The derelict medieval village of Ninfa is a hidden gem, tucked away in the foothills of the Lepini Mountains, 40 miles south of Rome.
Available in 3 colourways: Blue Sky on pastel blue ground, with silvery grey arches, and sage, grass and pine green foliage; Powder Pink on a blush pink ground, warm grey arches, and sage, grass and pine green foliage; Gold on a rich ochre ground, with beige taupe arches, and dusty charcoal foliage.

Il Giardino di Ninfa, is one of Italy’s best-kept secrets, featuring ruins of an ancient settlement that had remained deserted since the Middle Ages. It was rediscovered in the 1920s, when the Caetani family, former feudal lords, embraced the ruins with their landscaped vision of nature, flora and fauna. I first heard about Ninfa on a TV documentary in 1998, and set my heart on visiting.
Finally, in 2008 I booked a spring visit to Rome and took the opportunity to visit this enchanted place I'd been dreaming of! It was everything I had imagined - breathtaking, romantic, and Italian! I’m delighted to pay homage to this very special place with our classical architectural design, 'Arches of Ninfa'. Coincidently Il Giardino di Ninfa celebrated its centenary recently in 2020.
