We became so fond of these adorable feathered friends during the design development; we simply had to personify them! This Cockatoucan duo, are named after none other than the Creative Journey forefather and mother, Tom and Suzanne Lewis!

Available in three colourways: Tropicana on a pure white ground, with bold emerald leaves, magenta passionflower, orange, Suzanne the sapphire cockatoo, and a dazzling Tommy toucan; Berry Blush on a rosy blush ground, with lush green foliage, and shots of purple orange and cranberry; Deco Mint on a nostalgic blue-green ground, with mixed green leaves, purple, orange and fuchsia pink.

Living legend Tom Lewis, set up Tom Lewis Studios back in the 1950s, selling patterns to the local Manchester fashion trade. Over the years the business developed into a global concern and expanded into home furnishings, wallpapers and carpets. Tom Lewis retired in 2006 having spent 50 years travelling the globe selling artwork to manufacturers and retailers, many of whom became close friends.
In the earlys days his wife Suzanne was also a key figure in the business and a travelling companion. Their son, Kevin Lewis, co-owner of Creative Journey, took over the old Tom Lewis business 15 years ago, and has continued to develop the brand and keep their legacy well and truly alive. Creative Journey as a name is inspired by those early groundbreaking days of overseas business travel, the excitement of meeting amazing people from all corners of the globe.
